(15 June 1947 – 28 June 2015)

PCFA's NSW/ACT State Chairman, Tony Sonneveld OAM knew Colin for 20 years through the Officer Training Unit Association and first met his wife Judy Gray in 2007 at a PCFA men's health forum in Darling Harbour. Tony struck up an immediate and very close friendship with both. Sadly Judy passed away in March 2009. Over the last eight years Tony attended countless events with Colin including ANZAC Day marches, Officer Training Unit Association NSW dinners, Melbourne Cup events at Victoria Barracks Officers’ Mess, lunches with Burrcutters Union at the Mosman Hotel amongst many others.

Colin was a loyal and dedicated supporter of men, their partners and families who are affected by prostate cancer. Through the Sydney Market Foundation, Colin donated $115,000 over the years to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. We are extremely grateful for Colin's and the Sydney Market Foundation's generosity.

Colin and the Mango Auction team have been honoured by PCFA at Kirribilli House & NSW Government House by the New South Wales Governor over many years in recognition of funds generated for prostate cancer research.

We would like to offer our most heartfelt thanks to Colin and the Sydney Market Foundation for their amazing generosity over so many years. Colin has left a wonderful legacy behind by investing in a better world for future generations.

Thank you Colin, you shall be greatly missed.
