Systematic Prostate Biopsy Full

Biopsy of the prostate remains the standard method for diagnosing prostate cancer. But biopsies are not perfect, they can be a bit "hit and miss". The way prostate biopsies are being done is changing. New types of biopsy and the results of the PROMIS trial are driving this change. There is debate amongst clinicians about how to perform prostate biopsies giving these new innovations. This week’s blog examines what was said on this topic at the 2017 congress of the European Association of Urology.
