Men's Sheds provide a safe, supportive space where men can work on projects, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. There are more than 350 Men's Sheds in Victoria, with an estimated 20,000 members.
The Victorian Men's Shed Association (VMSA), as the peak body for Men's Sheds, works to improve health outcomes for men so that they lead longer, healthier lives. VMSA health events and regional networks connect the Men's Shed community across Victoria, providing opportunities to share experiences and learn from other Sheds.
Each Shed also runs their own activities to enhance men’s well-being and community engagement, creating environments where men can focus on their physical and mental health. Through advocacy and support, VMSA helps Sheds thrive, fostering a culture of wellness and positive community impact.
The partnership between VMSA and PCFA is a natural fit as both organisations are committed to improving men’s health and well-being. PCA's mission to reduce the impact of prostate cancer aligns with VMSA's dedication to promoting overall wellness.
Together, we empower men to take charge of their health and support each other in their communities.
