Join us for a fun afternoon and evening learning all about Prostate Cancer. Western Suburbs Prostate Cancer Support Group are hosting this exciting and informative Awareness Event during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month on Wednesday 13 September 2017.
Session 1: 4.30pm to 5.45pm Fun Lawn Bowls
Everyone from novices to advanced players will be coached and encouraged to participate in this great bonding exercise, soaking up some sun or just sitting on the verandah enjoying a drink. Spectators are also welcome. This is a free event.
Session 2: 5.45pm to 6.45pm Big Aussie Barbie
We will throw some snags on the barbie and serve some delicious salads for the healthy amongst us. There is a fee of $18.00 payable for your meal. Drinks are not included but can be purchased from the bar.
Session 3: 7.00pm to 9.30pm Guest Speakers Presentation
We will introduce a panel of guest speakers including Urologist Mr David Sofield; Dr Stephen Adams, medical director of Integrated Sexual Health; and Jo Milios, physiotherapist and co‐owner of Men's Health Complete Physiotherapy. A panel discussion will follow to allow guests to ask all those questions that may be worrying you. Following this session a light supper will be served. This is a free event.
