Since localised prostate cancer can be treated or managed in numerous different ways, newly diagnosed men are faced with some difficult choices. Many men seek a second medical opinion after their first visit to a specialist. Health professionals and foundations, such as PCFA, advise that getting a second opinion can be helpful. But is a second opinion actually useful, or does it just add to the confusion?
