As many with prostate cancer will be aware, testosterone drives the growth of prostate tumours. Medications that reduce testosterone levels can be life-saving treatments for prostate cancer. But testosterone is also used as a therapy for various conditions. Are those receiving testosterone treatment at greater risk of prostate cancer?
