Urinary incontinence can be a big problem for men after treatment for prostate cancer. Most men will have some urinary incontinence in the short-term after surgery or radiotherapy. But for some men, this continues for years, having a terrible impact on their lives. Two surgical treatments for long-term urinary incontinence are commonly performed in Australia. A newly published meta-analysis of these techniques has shown that both can lead to an effective cure.
