Tabcorp’s Queensland wagering arm UBET is backing men’s health and supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia (PCFA) for the second year running.
Tabcorp Managing Director Wagering and Media, Adam Rytenskild was at the Doomben for UBET Stradbroke Handicap yesterday and presented a $100,000 donation cheque to the Chair of Queensland’s PCFA Board, Judith Clements AC.
Mr Rytenskild said he was pleased to continue UBET’s support of the Foundation and that it’s a perfect fit for the wagering brand.
“Men make up over 70 per cent of our wagering customer base and we’re pleased to offer our financial support to the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia,” Mr Rytenskild said.
“Through our UBET brand we communicate to men every day and we are proud to help deliver the message about men’s health awareness.”
Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia Queensland Chair, Judith Clements said the UBET partnership is powerful in terms of both funding and awareness.
“Securing a partnership with a company like UBET, who share with PCFA a predominately male audience, is really powerful in not just funding more research through their generous donations but also support and awareness programs for men suffering from prostate cancer,” Judith said.
“PCFA is so grateful for the support of UBET through our on-going partnership and we are very much looking forward to continue working with them and their customers in the future.”
