The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is proud to announce Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia (PCFA) as the Official Charity of the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019.
The Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019, 25-27 October, marks PCFA's third consecutive year as the Official Charity for the event.
PCFA CEO, Professor Jeff Dunn AO, said the partnership was a win all round.
"We are tremendously honoured to be returning as the Official Charity of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix for the third year in a row.
"It's a win for fans, a win for the community, and a win for every man affected by prostate cancer.
"All donations to PCFA at the event will go towards life-saving research, awareness, and support," he said.
AGPC CEO, Andrew Westacott, said the cause was an important one for MotoGP™ fans.
"We are proud to continue our support and work alongside PCFA a third year. It's a great opportunity to promote prostate cancer awareness and encourage men to talk to their GP about their risks and family history," he said.
Across the three days of the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019. PCFA staff and volunteers will be collecting donations and selling merchandise.
All funds raised at the event will support PCFA's awareness, nursing and research programs.
