Baw Baw (Warragul) Prostate Cancer Support Group

Formation

The Baw Baw Prostate Cancer Support Group was formed in 2022 when Linton Blackwell moved to the area and discovered their was no support group within the Baw Baw region.  Linton’s experience as a former leader of the Bairnsdale group and a prostate cancer survivor of more than ten years, knows that prostate cancer impacts one in six men in their lifetime and realised many men in the area could benefit from the support of a group who understand what it means to be on the prostate cancer journey.

The group offers emotional support and information to anyone with an interest in prostate cancer. Partners are encouraged to attend meetings. Please call Linton 0419 582 665 if you need assistance or if you would like to attend a meeting but are just a bit unsure.

Meeting Details

We meet at 2.00pm on the second Wednesday of every month at the following venue: 
Warragul Sporting & Social Club (Downtowner)
55 Victoria Street
Warragul Vic 3820

Many of us meet in the bistro for lunch (own expense) prior to the meeting at 1.00pm.
