Meetings (no fees) are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11am

The group has been established to provide support to men diagnosed with prostate cancer, to share common experiences and raise awareness of prostate cancer in a safe and confidential environment. Open discussions (informal and facilitated) where men, (and their partners if they wish), can share their experiences of coping with diagnosis, treatment, side effects and getting on with life after treatment.

We are affiliated with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, with information resources available for all members.

Our policy of confidentiality encourages open and frank discussion on issues for men with prostate cancer which can include first-hand personal experiences of treatments and possible outcomes in areas that may otherwise be difficult to discuss.

Meetings may be supported by health professionals, such as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Nurse Consultant, and Presentations by health professionals on topics related to prostate cancer; its treatment and management of side-effects; including medical, diet, physiotherapy and psychosocial information will occur periodically.

Our group exists to provide opportunities to meet for information, advice and mutual support.
