Northern Rivers Day PCSG

Formation

The group was formed in 2000, an initiative of the foundation convenor Ivan Eichorn.

The group is properly structured, has sound meeting records and due to fund raising initiatives is also on a sound financial footing.

Meetings are usually attended by 30 - 35 members.

Our mailing list for the minutes of monthly meetings and a regular monthly newsletter are sent to about 90.

Wives, partners, friends and any interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Activities

The group meets on the second Wednesday of every month (except December and January).

A relevant guest speaker addresses the vast majority of meetings and members are encouraged to talk about their own ongoing experiences with prostate cancer.

Meetings are held from 10am-12 noon on the second Wednesday of each month at the Alstonville Bowling Club, 10-14 Deegan St, Alstonville NSW.
