Formation
The group was formed on 1 March 1999 following a Prostate Cancer Awareness breakfast seminar. It was felt by a number of the men attending that there was a need for a Support Group. As at February 2009 the membership is 80. There are no subscriptions or membership fees as the Group has managed to function financially with grants from the Dept. of Human Services.
Activities
The group welcomes men and women, family, carers and friends. We look forward to your enquiries. You are not alone. We offer friendship, understanding and information. If you are interested or concerned about Prostate problems, do not hesitate to call.
Meeting Dates
The Group meets on the second Monday of each month at 9.30am; if it is a public holiday then the meeting is on the 3rd Monday at 9.30am.
We meet at St Clement’s Anglican Church, Cnr Skehan Blvd and Central Ave, Altona Meadows.
