Help launch Australia's first Prostate Cancer Telenursing Service – DONATE NOW
Today, 54 men will hear the news they have prostate cancer. 36 of them will have nowhere to turn.
We have Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurses around the country, but they can only reach 1 in 3 men with prostate cancer.
Put simply, we don't have enough nurses to meet demand.
We urgently need your help to launch our Prostate Cancer Telenursing Service.
Please make a tax-deductible donation today.
We have seen a 60% drop in prostate cancer testing due to coronavirus, and many have faced delays in treatment.
So, while our nurses struggle to reach all the men and families who need us right now, over the next year even more will need our help.
This vital new service will provide:
- Specialist nursing advice about diagnosis, treatment and side effects management.
- Vital mental health support for men with prostate cancer.
- Expert support and advice for loved ones.
A nationwide Telenursing Service will give us the best opportunity to reach more men, including those in regional and rural areas, who have a 24% higher risk of dying from prostate cancer than men in major cities.
Please make a tax-deductible donation so we can make sure we're there for all men living with prostate cancer.
