Each year the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) holds a scientific meeting. This event brings together medical, research and allied health professionals working in urology and uro-oncology. The 2017 meeting in Canberra this February is the 70th annual meeting of USANZ. A number of presentation sessions and workshops were dedicated to prostate cancer. During these sessions, the current and future management of prostate cancer by urologists were debated and the latest in prostate cancer research was presented. This weeks’ blog provides an overview of the meeting and some highlights of the prostate cancer topics covered.
