MatesCONNECT is a phone-based peer support service that will be delivered to men affected by prostate cancer in Western Australia, thanks to a generous $100,000 grant from Woodside Community Fund.

MatesCONNECT will be accessible to men wherever they live in WA, with a particular focus on supporting men’s health in regional and rural areas.

The service offers men affected by prostate cancer the chance to speak to trained volunteers who have been in a similar situation. They use their experience to provide empathy and support over the telephone.

We are currently recruiting MatesCONNECT Volunteers. If you have a lived experience of prostate cancer and are passionate about supporting other men, we would love to hear from you!

Please read the position description, complete the application form and email it to us at Applications close Sunday 16 August.
